Exploring harmonies and contrasts of colour applied thickly and also as blended glazes, Quiet Reverie II conjures a feel of a shimmering coastline, whether it be the mediterranean, or the beautiful coves of Cornwall or Hebridean island bays. Paul has painted in all of these places and allowed the sense of place to permeate through his artworks without being literal about his representations. Painting from memory and intuition Paul is inspired by the feel and atmosphere of his paintings. Presented in a very smart white professional tray frame.
