The reflections and mirages that make sand flats on the low tide sand flats on the bays and beaches of Cornwall, Devon and the Islands of Scotland and the Hebrides are drawn upon in this 91.5cm canvas.

Paul spends lots of time sketching these wonderful atmospheres having windsurfed and kitesurfed from them for many years. Paul starts his canvases with applied textures before painting intuitively wiith heavy impasto colour combined with subtle colour glazes and markmaking. Quiet Ocean Wilds is one of a series of 3 large canvases. Sold unframed but edge painted.
