A quidam is an unknown or unspecified individual; somebody. He used to be in the streets, passes and somehow we think we know him, have seen or dreamed about him before. In our artificial world, where narcism and hedonism rule, quidams seem to have disappeared. Anyway, attractive seamen would never notice. They only notice themselves.
