A silent trail, over slabs of limestone and through forest where wild mushrooms hide in the mosses, leads to a place of dappled light and shadow. And solitude.

A secluded beach on a lake bordered by tall pines, shrubbery, and coffee-coloured tidal pools. In places such as this, places you absorb all alone, it’s easy to imagine how it might have felt to be the first person to discover them.

This print is part of the Heron Road series - inspired by a year-long road trip along the back roads of North America.

A nine-colour limited-edition reduction linocut, carved and printed by hand from a single block, each colour printed individually.

Every print in this edition is unique; minor variations are possible and are the result of the process by which it's made. Colours may vary slightly depending on your monitor.

Each print bears the number within the edition and the artist’s signature.
