Original artwork description:
I grew up in the Cornish fishing village of Polperro and was fascinated by crab and lobster pots from a young age. I still see them as objects of beauty, although their true purpose is functional rather than decorative. Here, I've given the foreground over to them with their textures and colours. Behind them is the opposite quay wall with a few small boats and old cobb cottages.
Acrylic on canvas, varnished, mounted and framed in a white contemporary frame ready to hang.
Framed measurements are 42cm x 32cm x 3.5cm.
Signed on the back and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity. Please let me know if you'd like it signed on the front.
