Artfinder asks me to define my work as figurative or abstract, impressionistic or expressionistic. That’s hard to do. I try to create suggestive, beguiling, transcendent compositions in bright, youthful colours using lines and shapes that suggest but don’t define people in their constantly moving bodies and environments. The results are often a surprise to me, revealing delicious meanings and emotions!

This artwork was created using a multitude of techniques, including photography, digital and hand painting, penmanship, print, and chance! It’s on a quality heavy cotton canvas, professionally stretched on a spruce frame, and is ready to hang.
