With this piece I was keen to give only a snapshot of the subject, I felt there was enough in his expression to literally give the full picture on what he's thinking. Even without someones mouth you can still tell there expression through their eyes. With most of my work, I like to leave quite a lot of vacant space in order to bring focus to the subject. There is quite a lot of pencil detail this piece.
