She is seated, exposing her left side. She is naked but holds a sheet in front of her, between her legs, and her hands are clasped in front of her chest.
Her left leg is raised, with the knee bent, her foot resting on the edge of her seat.
Her face and gaze are turned towards the audience.
Her mahogany brown hair is loose, falling in curls down her back.
The light comes from the left of the painting.
The background is in reddish ochre tones, with drips complementing the bottom of the sheet.
