Artwork description:

I live very near this bridge and have walked across it many times, it is situated where old Putney Bridge once was, a wooden structure designed to carry horse and cart. On a nice day I like to venture down on to the river bed, if the tide is out. There is a little boat yard at the foot of the bridge where I made the drawing which I used for the print, and there's an air of quaintness about it considering all that is so modern in the vicinity. I just loved the dark reflection of that solid piece of engineering shadowing the mud below it, showing off the this mighty piece of engineering, considering all the weight that it carries.
