Original artwork description:

This artwork is part of the "Escape" series. One of the series that tells the story in pictures "Solomon's Paradox".

I conducted research on the question "What are you running away from?". I interviewed acquaintances and followers in social networks. Reflected on the questions independently. The images you see in the pictures are based on real answers. The title of each picture is a direct answer to the question I was researching.

The paintings of the circle is multifaceted in the story "Solomon's Paradox". The bubble is a metaphor for one person's worldview, limited by beliefs, experience, and heredity. In the "Escape" series, in addition to the hero of the picture, there are spots and lines that show the presence of movement. They also testify to the remains of the gray-blue spots of the spiral from the "Attack" series of paintings. It was as if the anger was concentrated in the hero and it gave him accelerated movement from everything he meets on the way.
The "Escape" series is created on paper with a smooth surface in order to make watercolor transitions invisible. They resemble the view from the window in a moving car. Since this is the second series, there are 2 silhouettes of the hero with whom the events take place. In this painting, I reflect on the process of escaping from myself. The background consisting of fragments of blue, yellow, earthy color is a metaphor for the destruction of stereotypes.
In my life and in painting, I am the embodiment of opposites that come together - rising Cancer and lunar Aquarius. I, like the impressionists, do not use black paint and, like the expressionists, I prefer emotions in creating pictures. Such a combination attracts attention and encourages discussions. Through the series of paintings "Escape", the owners of the paintings show the determination of their intentions. The paintings serve as a reminder to stop and check your bearings. They encourage dialogues with friends and loved ones, intellectual discussions about their meaning and bold expression of individuality in the interior.

"Solomon's Paradox" is the general name of one story in three acts - a cycle of paintings. The series of artworks are called "Escape", "Attack", "Stupor". Drawings of automatic brain reactions "fight-run-freeze" that penetrated into everyday life, mine and maybe yours... This is my way of turning the conditions of the everyday threat of missile fire into a field of research that I experienced on the territory of Ukraine at the beginning of the war. The paintings from the "Solomon's Paradox" project were created in the process of psychoanalysis and are intended to remind that each person, regardless of external circumstances, is the creator of his own path.
