Purple Turtle is the another painting in my series of abstract artworks inspired by my love of turtles. It was created using bold purples with orange and white.
As I do in all my paintings, in order to create a lasting visual impression, hours of practice are needed to maintain a pleasing look and not a muddy mess.
Art buyers (and art lovers) will see symbolic references to prominent 20th century abstract painters like Annemarie Ridderhof as I offer homage to their artistic vision through my own art.
