Yes, it's time to plant your tulip bulbs. In the fall, I get excited about bulbs. I can just picture that glorious color when we all are fatigued by the browns and grays of winter. I love purple tulips, but the squirrels nip the buds off the bulbs as soon as the buds appear. So, I just have to paint purple tulips.

I drew my image onto linoleum, carved it out, printed it onto Strathmore paper, and colored it in with watercolor and gouache.
