Artwork description:

I know it's not spring, but I'm already tired of the gray. Is it fog or an inversion or both? Who knows? So, I'll pretend it's spring and the tulips are blooming.

This is a hand-printed, hand-colored linocut. I drew the image onto linoleum, carved out the image, printed it onto Strathmore printing paper, and colored it in with watercolor and gouache. It's very springy and very cheerful! I hope you love it!

Materials used:

linoleum, carving tools, printing ink and paper, watercolor and gouache
