Like all other artworks, it is a Mixed Media / Collage painting, constructed with layers of paper mixed with acrylic paint.

According to db Waterman, the recurring themes in her portfolio are now more relevant than ever. db Waterman's art depicts the current state of the world and how our children grow up in an often unfair and deteriorating environment. Yet it is precisely the ability of children to transcend difficult situations and find joy and light in the darkest of environments that provides much-needed hope for the future.
