Purple Sparks

Purple Sparks is a vivid representation of my passion for both the city of Los Angeles and the exhilarating game of basketball. Being originally from the city, my heart has always been captivated by the teams that call it home. The LA teams, in particular, have a special place in my affections. In crafting this painting, I drew inspiration from the vibrant colors of the LA Sparks, the city's women's basketball team. The team's spirited energy and a handful of concepts from their playbook provided me with the creative fuel I needed to embark on this artistic journey.

As I applied brush to canvas, I endeavored to capture the essence of basketball, mimicking the seamless flow of the game from one end of the court to the other. I aimed to evoke the sense of movement and rhythm that electrifies the court during a game, infusing my artwork with the same vitality that the LA Sparks exhibit on the basketball court.
