Original artwork description:

I wanted to abandon every preconceived idea I had about painting and just explore colour and the form it wanted to take. However, when I let the paint take its own course a familiar idea formed and emotions with it; purple rain. This work was painted in the style of abstract expressionism.

I like using Synthetic Polymers as the colours blend so well together, and this painting was created using entirely Synthetic Polymer.

This work is painted on 12 oz gallery canvas and has been sealed with varnish. The canvas is 152.4cm in width by 50.8 cm in height.

This work was created on the 5th day of September 2020.

A Certificate of Authenticity with hologram - verification is attached to the image.
