Original artwork description:

A little study of a wooden post wrapped around with barbed wire and purple loosestrife towering up into the sky. The thorny stems of bramble bushes crossing through the leafy undergrowth.
This painting is based on a photograph which I took whilst picking brambles in the late Summer. I loved the way that everything had grown around this fat little wooden post with the barbed wire. The purple loosestrife and the flowers of the brambles made it into such an interesting little snapshot.
The work is supplied ready to hang.
