This artwork is a small, atmospheric impressionist painting of a Scottish highland landscape, capturing the essence of an early morning by a mountain lochan - small loch or lake in the Highlands. This moody painting portrays the wild moors and moorland scenery of northern Scotland such as the Outer Hebrides of Lewis and Harris, North and south Uist, Isle of Skye, Sutherland, or Lochaber. Rendered in a modern semi abstract impressionistic manner, it features muted autumnal hues set against the contrasting purple and blues of the distant hills.

Painted using quality artists paint on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a varnish finish and white wooden frame with cord ready to hang.
