The seasons are inexhaustible sources of inspiration for painters. This painting part of a series about autumn and its wonderful colors and lights, between abstraction and impressionism. I started this series several years ago. Thus, each autumn brings me its ritual of contemplation and admiration of nature. The foliage is just evoked, rendered by juxtapositions of touches of color. The contemporary quiet atmosphere is enhanced by the rich extra-fine oils of the famous French brand Sennelier.

The silhouette of the foliages are painted from real raspberry foliages of my garden.

Misty atmospheres are always fascinating me. Particulary the mornings, when sun rise in the fog and gives this translucent light.
There is beautiful blue under the transparent purple laque of the foliages...

I've used soft and muted colors, pastels tones. I also worked with transparent colors. The white run-outs appears almost like pearl white in transparency.
