Original artwork description:

This pastel painting is of a large purple iris that I saw growing in a garden. The flower is not only purple, but had many pinks, reds and blues as well. Irises are complicated flowers to draw as they have many curved petals, but this is what makes them so interesting._x000D_ The painting is not framed, but mounted on foam board with a white mount. Clear plastic sheet is inserted under the mount to prevent smudging, and all this is inserted into an archival bag. The painting can be removed when ready for framing. Framing instructions are included. I have given the painting a light spray with fixative to stabilize the pastel.
