"Pure ornament #2 Tulips", mixed media on paper, 42X59,4 cm (16.5"X23.4").

I've used acrylic, metallic acrylic, felt pens, stencils. This a one of a kind decorative artwork, with stylized tulips in orange color, playing with yellowish greens, blue and white. Ths stenciling gives an effect of embossed lace, but the painting is absolutely flat !

"Pure ornament" project.
Since many years, I am interested by unique wall paper, and the pure ornament, the forms of decor, the history of the pattern decoration. I continue to explore a contemporary way of using this kind of visual art.

This decorative sheet of paper (like a traditional domino), is send rolled in a tube. It can be framed, or directly glued to the wall, like a wall paper.
