Original artwork description:

This is an Ink drawing of the famous Temple in the Sea at Tanah Lot, Bali, Indonesia. It was drawn “en plein air” from up on a clifftop opposite the Temple on a very hot and steamy tropical afternoon. Bali is an amazingly beautiful and mystical place known as the Island of the Gods for good reason. The Tanah Lot Temple itself is an amazing creation that you have to follow a rocky trail to reach during low tide, I can’t imagine how difficult it was to build. It is steeped in traditional beliefs and mystical folklore and is dedicated to a God called Dewa Baruna who guards the oceans, with stories about the local venomous sea snakes in the sacred caves nearby being reincarnations of the temple founder.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver to every country at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
