It's autumn again and a season of pumpkins.

That still life is painted from life. Close to my house there is a field where you can buy different type of pumpkins and I chose Hokkaido because of it bright warm colors and tasty food.
It is sunny autumn weather still and the rays shining through the window, so the different bright colors are playing on my Hokkaido. From lemon and yellow to deep red and burned siena. The French ultramarine I used to reflect glass plate as a beautiful contrast of the pumpkin.
Warm and cold shades of shadows harmoniously intertwine into a separate story in this still life. The white table allows them to be reflected in contrast.

Halloween holidays are coming soon and such framed artwork can be a beautiful present. It is about autumn nature and a harvest time.
