Original artwork description:

This work has a long history and it is a fusion of two works.
First I painted the canvas with red and white oil paint. I scratched structures into this layer with a spatula and then it dried for several months. During this time a very spontaneous painting on cardboard in the colors light blue, black and gold was created.
I wanted to change the composition and tore this painting into long strips. Suddenly I felt a connection with the previously painted canvas and I mounted the strips on this fascinating background.
It is a "rough" work, restrained in its colors and yet sparkling and vibrant in its liveliness.
It gives the viewer space and freedom for their own interpretations and there are exciting details to discover.

Materials used:

Stretched Canvas
