This painting is a 150 x 50 cm acrylic painting on unstretched raw canvas.

This abstract landscape piece was painted using soak stain technique pioneered by Helen Frankenthaler. I folded the canvas repeatedly while the paint was still drying to achieve the wrinkled look.

It’s unstretched and will be rolled and shipped in a sturdy mailing tube for shipping. This is ideal for large painting as it has less risk of damage during transit.

If you like the look of this painting as is, please let your framer know so they would not stretch it tightly and loose all the wrinkled texture.
