Psyche is the Greek goddess of the soul. Psyche was commonly referred to as such in Roman mythology as well, though direct translation is Anima (Latin word for "soul"). Historically, Psyche was depicted as a butterfly or a girl with butterfly wings.

The art curator Vanessa Viti (Italy) comments on this painting: “The works of the artist Junija are intense, true, real and tangible.
