With my passion for Lavender and my affinity to France ,it had to be done. This painting has been on my mind for some time and on my easel for a lot longer ! its taken sometime to complete this piece, I wanted to capture the big sky and the clarity of light of the region. Its a dramatic painting a golden sun rises over the mountains casting light on the field of lavender plants .The work was created applying heavy body acrylics with a palette knife giving the finished work a structural quality.All of my paintings are carefully wrapped and packed, shipped and tracked within four days of receiving orders.
