Original artwork description:

Moment of intense radiance through delicate white flowers in a summer garden in Provence, with the earthy-toned hills that form a backdrop to the scene providing a foil to the ethereal quality of the light-filled petals.

The morning view of these flowers beguiled me every day for a week on a Provençal holiday, becoming a sort of meditation as my mind completely emptied at the sight of so much light held suspended by such fragile form. I knew straightaway that I had to try and capture the 'moment' on my return home and this was the result; a mediation in paint.

This is a deep-sided canvas with white painted sides, ready to hang.
