Proto Still life #10 - Pear and tea cup. The evolution of the humble still life has a long history. To take everyday household objects and creatively transform them in such a way that brings a modern fresh perspective is my launchpad. This painting is a further development in modernising the subject. This time bringing in abstracts elements.

A metallic silver acrylic paint was used as a starting layer. Along with the texture created the way the silver attract light from different angles and lighting conditions take this painting to a new place each time.

This is a continuous series titled Proto, as in prototype. At some stage they might evolve beyond an experimental prototype stage and become a new series.

Every endeavour is made to photograph this painting and represent it as true to life. Images sometimes differ depending on monitor settings, it is advised to view any artwork on multiple devices. I am encouraged by all of my customers saying they love the artwork they have purchased.

Shipping charges cover my costs of properly packaging the artwork, materials used, tracking, insurance is all covered. In the event that freight charges are less than paid, i will arrange a reimbursement, all duty fees or addition taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.
