Artwork description:

Abstract work loosely depicting buds of PROTEA, an Australian flower. Produced as a limited edition (of 30) hand-made original etching print on velvet surface, very heavy 300 gsm Hahnemule paper. Made on a traditional etching press using the centuries-old technique of using an etched metal plate to print onto paper. The buds on the print have been lighly tinted by hand using acrylic ink in a subtle darm violet/magenta.
Each print is signed and numbered in pencil in the margin.
