"Art is such a human need as to eat and drink. The need for beauty and creativity, embodying it, is inseparable from man, and without it man, perhaps, would not want to live in the world." Fedor Dostoevsky.
In my artistic practice, as an artist, I combine decorative-plane painting with the study of the deep layers of the archaic, picking up the inflamed color and genre intensity of the expressionists.
Each portrait has its own story, and they are remarkable in that each person in the heroes of the picture sees himself or his acquaintance. In this regard, I do not want to burden the portrait with any clichés, because for each person in the picture is his own individuality, I have no right to take this opportunity away from you.
In the works, the author explores the boundaries of the picturesque coloristic reception of plane writing. In an emphasized decorative, detached manner, everyday images of people are transferred from a real portrait to illustrative material. The author captures social changes associated with the processes of digitization of reality. With the advent and development of digital communication technologies, the artist deconstructs the genre of a realistic portrait into a digital copy, which has illustrative impersonal properties.
The author of the paintings has extensive experience in international exhibitions, her paintings are kept in private collections in different countries of the world.
