On my winter daily walks I found a fascination in the hedge tops that held on steadfastly to a few remaining leaves from the summer. The light was fading and the leaves looked like little birds.
I made two mosaics, one at sunset (part 1) and one at moon rise (part 2) . I imagined the birds were born from saplings and would fly away at moon rise.
Please note, the iridescent glass will change colour depending on the direction of the light source. Please see part 1, one is not complete without the other!

Stained glass, ceramic tile, iridescent glass tile
