Original artwork description:

This art work is part of a series entitled "End of the Season". As the title suggest I was particularly interested in the loaded atmosphere in British seaside towns as the summer season draws to a conclusion, the beaches, promenades and tourist attractions become less busy and the resorts enter a short limbo state before winter sets in and eventually everything closes.

This art work is painted with artist quality oil paint (Michael Harding) has excellent colour fastness, The work is painted on a tradition gesso ground and is titled and signed on the reverse. The painting has a flat, matt, non-reflective surface and doesn't require hanging hardware.
