Prologue to Spring features two sisters waiting for the joys of spring to commence.
Painted on reclaimed wood with layers of acrylic paint and glaze medium.
The wood measures 14 cm x 38 cm and is 4.5 cm deep.
The grain of the wood is incorporated into the design. The edges are unpainted as I have attempted to keep the wood block roughness as part of this paintings appeal.
