I was invited to paint in a friends garden last week - it was a delight! He considers his garden to be his work of art. There is an amazing profusion of color and textures. He use plant materials freely - using the cool leaves of broccoli against the eye popping color of annuals. I was interested in capturing the dappled nature of the garden and the lush color.
