In this painting, I've captured the fluent and ephemeral beauty of the sea at a fleeting moment of sunrise. The swirl of the waves, rendered in emotive brushstrokes of oil, conveys the tumultuous yet mesmerising power of nature. Blending techniques from impressionism to realism, I seek to evoke a sense of awe, contemplation and excitement, reminding viewers of the endless dance between calming serenity and chaos in the natural world. To create this painting I used various range of techniques- from an old traditional glazing/sfumato (gained its popularity in 16th-17th century) and blending to impressionistic impasto.

This painting would look great in any home décor style. It is ready to hang, can be framed or hung without a frame - this painting is extended over the edges of the gallery wrapped canvas, is wired, signed and dated by me.
