This painting depicts a beautiful young woman wearing a wide-brimmed hat and a velvet dress. She is holding a bottle of perfume in her hand.
I have a sensitive sense of smell. I love the smell of fresh grass, tangerine, vanilla and freshly baked bread. And of course, I love the complex scents of perfume.
I decided to paint a concise colourful picture of a woman releasing a fragrant cloud from a bottle of perfume. The woman has her eyes covered with pleasure, she is clearly enjoying the light fragrance. We don't know what perfume is in the woman's hand. We don't know what fragrance the woman is inhaling. But we mentally share in her pleasure.
The painting is in black acrylic on textured paper designed for acrylic and oil painting. The texture of the paper resembles a fine grained canvas.
If you wish, I can paint such a painting on canvas or on paper in a different size. I will do this work quickly, no more than 2 days. Acrylic dries within a few hours.
