This miniature painting was born after visiting the Museum of Stones.
I must say that I was born and live in a beautiful mountainous region - the Urals. The Ural is an ancient mountain range.
In the Urals in the 19th century, a magnificent stone was mined - malachite. In my opinion, this stone is more beautiful than many precious stones. In general, the Ural mountains are rich in beautiful semi-precious stones - jasper, amethyst. And we also have beautiful granite.
It is not for nothing that all residents of our city love to visit the Museum of Stones.
But this time, I stayed for a long time at the transparent druse of rock crystal. The suddenly emerging winter sun illuminated this large crystal so brightly. And he played with all the colours of the rainbow.
It was so fabulous, magical! I seemed to be transported to my favourite childhood fairy tale about Gerda and Kay, to the cold and beautiful kingdom of the Snow Queen.
Arriving home, I immediately painted this picture.
It was fast, acrylic, and in a tiny format. But even such a small picture can be made twice as large.

You can arrange a picture on an extensive passe-partout.
If you liked the idea of the painting and the colour, but the dimensions do not suit you, write to me! I can repeat this picture for you in other sizes, more extensive.
