I painted this picture based on my impressions of a trip to Kamchatka.
I don't know what this landscape looks like in summer or spring. So I was there in the fall. But there was an impression that it was August. Probably, in Kamchatka, all seasons are shifted relative to Europe and the Urals.
Here you can see a small section of the massive crater of the ancient extinct Uzon volcano.
As I wrote earlier, the landscapes of Kamchatka seem to me from another planet. However, I have not yet visited other worlds. It can only be in a dream. Or is it the impressions of the books I read in the genre of science fiction?
But in any case, these landscapes are very unusual and beautiful. And, of course, I want to transfer them to the canvas. Earlier I painted a bright landscape with red grass in oil pastels. And this landscape is in a restrained range. But I liked it no less than the first one.

I love it when the paintings are framed in a baguette frame. But now, it is considered relevant to hang pictures without a frame. So I painted over the side edges of the painting. It looks like a continuation of the landscape. If you want to buy this painting, then you will have a choice. Both options look attractive in the interior.
