I painted this picture based on my impressions of a trip to Kamchatka._x000D_ I don't know what this landscape looks like in summer or spring. So I was there in the fall. But there was an impression that it was August. Probably, in Kamchatka, all seasons are shifted relative to Europe and the Urals._x000D_ Here you can see a small section of the massive crater of the ancient extinct Uzon volcano._x000D_ As I wrote earlier, the landscapes of Kamchatka seem to me from another planet. However, I have not yet visited other worlds. It can only be in a dream. Or is it the impressions of the books I read in the genre of science fiction?_x000D_ But in any case, these landscapes are very unusual and beautiful. And, of course, I want to transfer them to the canvas. Earlier I painted a bright landscape with red grass in oil pastels. And this landscape is in a restrained range. But now, it is considered relevant to hang pictures without a frame. So I painted over the side edges of the painting. It looks like a continuation of the landscape.
