This oil painting is the result of my fantastic trip to St Michael's Mount in Cornwall.
With my painting I capture the majestic and mysterious atmosphere of this iconic landmark on the southwestern coast of England. St. Michael's Mount is an island that is only accessible by causeway during low tide, which adds to its sense of intrigue. The painting depicts the medieval castle perched atop the mount, surrounded by the dynamic ocean, enhancing the mystical feel of the place. The contrast between the natural beauty of the coastline and the imposing architecture of the castle can evoke a sense of isolation and spirituality.
