I live in a big city. Often it occurs to me that I do not see the stars in the sky, even when the sky is cloudless.
It's all about a large amount of diverse lighting in large cities. I like it sometimes, especially in winter.
But I miss the endless starry sky.
And recently I was in the village, went for an evening walk and looked up. And there is such beauty! The sky is dark blue, like precious silk. And many stars on this silk.
I admired this spectacle for a long time. And at some point, I saw large poppies in the sky. As if the stars have formed a new constellation, "Poppies".
I transferred my fantasy to the canvas. I invite you to admire the Star Poppies!
