Painted on-site in Ellison Bay, Door County, WI. A lovely and mysterious evening scene with sunset lighting and shades of yellow, pink, blue and purple in the sky. A mix of autumn foliage in orange, gold, and green flanks the sides of a road in shadowy blue-grey. On the left side of the road, a spark of white from birch trunks peeks through, and on the right the profile of an evergreen reaches into the sky. Painted in oil over casein paint with both brush and palette knife.
Framed in a 1.5" wood frame with an antique gold finish. May be purchased unframed by request.
