Original artwork description:

This is an ink drawing (with a little bit of acrylic paint) over a pre-printed background.
The representation is of a tortured soul. The title is based on the fact that his (our) problems are usually a result of our own actions.

PRISONER OF HIS OWN MAKING is on 4 mil. archival grade drafting mylar . This material is tough, waterproof, inert, flexible, dimensionally stable, and it does not have to be stretched, like canvas and watercolor paper. The artwork is produced using India ink and acrylic paint. I only sell original work so there will only be one original and no authorized copies will ever be made. The artwork is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
It will be shipped in a tube. The artwork is very easy to mount on any type of board: plywood, masonite, foamboard, etc. I include simple mounting instructions with each piece that I sell and also I include mounting tape, a hanging strip and a drywall hanging device. Everything that you need to mount your art except the board.

If you prefer, I will mount the artwork on tempered masonite board with a two or three inch border. It will be “ready to hang”, with a hanging strip attached to the back and a wall hanging device that is very simple to use. It will be shipped in a cardboard box. You may take it out of the box and have it hanging on your wall within five minutes. The extra charge is $40.00 for mounting and packaging plus the additional shipping costs. Message me through this site and I will calculate the total costs for mounting and shipping.
