Inspired by the colours of a peacock ...
we are lucky to have a visiting peacock that comes to our garden frequently, so the fabulous colours of his plumage inspired me to paint a woman scantily dressed in blue and green.
This is the fifth in the series.
I worked on this painting in my garden, on a sunny day in early May.
It is drawn on my favourite paper - a cotton paper, hand-made in India, which has a pleasing deckle edge.
I have used graphite pencil, "Inktense" permanent water based crayons and chalk pastel.
Some of the photographs show the finished painting in my hallway, on an easel in my studio and work in progress in the sunny garden.
Available unframed.
Packed very carefully and sent by Tracked Delivery.
I include a Certificate of Authenticity with all my artworks.
watercolour, inktense watercolour, pencil, chalk pastel
