Magpies are such clever, resourceful birds with an eye for sparkly treasure. This painting catches the fleeting glance of a magpie as he leaves with his bounty. There is nothing more beautiful than the sun on the feathers of birds that we perceive to be black. The greens, blues and pinks sing out from their feathers.

This is a watercolour and Indian ink painting on 200lbs watercolour paper. It is sold unmounted and unframed. It will be supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity.
