(May 2019) 30 x 40 x 1.5 inches. Unframed painting-Ready to hang-sides will be painted to match the painting with an Aqua tone. (30 + layers) Gallery Wrapped Cotton Canvas. Textured/Layered Abstract Painting. Painted with palette knives. The painting's focus is on the center abstract Red boxes & Red Patterns I have created. I have used Copper, Red, Gold, and Aqua for the center focal Red boxes and Patterns. I used modeling paste& sand to build up the 2 main Red boxes. I started with many layers of primer to build a strong canvas. After this I went through many stages over 2 months to build the added layers. I have given the center of this painting several textured patterns which gives a Primitive aspect & Asian feeling. There are 3 different layers of Yellow-Orange, Orange under the 2 main layers of Aqua & Gold. There are small touches of Gold & Red through out the canvas. A lot of these small details are hard to pick up with my photographs. The painting can be hung 4 different directions - so there is 2 Vertical hangings and 2 Horizontal hangings. Felt pads included on backside corners. Signed on the backside and Certificate of Authenticity included with the painting 1/1.

***PLEASE note: When taking photos of this painting with the Aqua color-it was/is difficult to obtain the exact color of the Aqua. The Aqua color changes depending on the Lighting. In the Sun-It comes across more with a Blue tint. Indoors with overhead Lighting the Aqua also appears lighter. In truth-the Aqua is a Greenish Blue. The main photos I have posted are correct with the coloring. ***Lighting will make a huge difference in the mood of this painting-as with any painting. Overhead/Canned/Spot Lighting is the best or indirect Lighting. Never direct Sunlight. Wall colors also will make a difference with a painting. I have taken my photos outdoors with Overcast skies & Sun light. I have used 200 ISO with my camera to take these photos. When posting my painting photos I always have the original painting next to me to assure the photos I add match the original painting.
