Unframed painting-Ready to hang-sides will be painted White. (15 layers) Textured/Layered Abstract Painting. Painted with palette knives. The color tones I have used in this painting represent rock on the side of a rocky cliff wall or inside a cave. With the layers of paint coming through to reveal the changes through the history of rock ledges. I have a base of white primer which I layered 9 times. Then I used a white paint layering 3 times and finally worked in my prime layer colors for the last layers-using White, Cream, Medium Brown, and Brown. I have added small hints of red in the center to give some depth & a couple hints of Teal & Dark Yellow. I came up with this idea when I picked the colors I had planned to use for this painting. I find it creative to bring out the colors below the top layer as I have done with this painting. There was several drying periods and trying to bring through some different colors & finally blending coats for my last layering process. There are small details that are hard to pick up with photographs. This is another very strong earthy painting in person. The painting can be hung 4 different directions-so there is 2 Vertical hangings and 2 Horizontal hangings. Felt pads included on backside corners. Signed on the backside and Certificate of Authenticity included with the painting 1/1.

***PLEASE note: Lighting will make a huge difference in the mood of this painting-as with any painting. I have taken many of photos at this time indoors in an extra bedroom-I have used different levels of light and no light at all on this painting. I will be taking some additional photos of this painting outdoors. I have used 200 ISO with my camera to take these photos. When posting my painting photos I always have the original painting next to me to assure the photos I add match the original painting.
