Original artwork description:

This piece was meant to elicit the feel of decor made up of bits and pieces of broken ceramics assembled to create a patchwork type of design. I reference that idea while painting this. In my version of this idea, I assembled souvenirs that are a nod to my life in menton, France; Colorful Houses with Tiled Roofs, Palm Trees and Flowers, Bits of Sea and Sailboats. These things are tucked into bottles as if preserving these precious memories. This canvas is painted around the edges so it can be hung unframed.
