My subject focuses on the ongoing global pandemic which has sneaked into our daily routine and has become part of our everyday life. I believe the most basic part of our everyday life is the survival instinct. Our every action is driven by this simple primitive compulsion. I find it interesting that mankind constantly struggles to protect their bodies from the environmental threats, that sometimes are engendered by humanity itself. The fact that we solve the problems that we created as solutions to some other problems, makes me wonder about the complex relationship between the problem and solution. Against the backdrop of the ongoing global pandemic crisis, my subject mostly foregrounds the relationship between the ecological and anthropogenic issues we face and the combat strategies we take to protect ourselves.
