Oil on linen 66x100x2cm (26x39.4x0.8in) 2015 SOLD, private collection, Cambridge, UK
I was thinking about painting a pregnant woman in a shower of light when my friend Laura said she would have been happy to pose for me: here is the result. After painting the artwork I decided to add the stripes to separate the figure from the background, as previously done in a couple of works.
Premaman is an oil painting which has been sold to a private collector in UK. The painting was shipped in a wooden crate along with a unique certificate of authenticity.
